Now the price of Asus Bamboo laptop along with other details has been released. The Bamboo laptop are priced at NT $59,900 (approx. Rs. 89,180), are expected to be made available at the Taipei World Trade Center exhibition in Taiwan.
Available in 12.1-inch and 11.1-inch screen sizes, the Bamboo laptop’s feature include Intel Core2 Duo processors, Super Hybrid Engine technology, 802.11a/g/n Wi-Fi, environmental friendly WXGA LED-backlit LCD screen and an integrated 0.3 megapixel webcam with microphone.
The laptops will be powered by Microsoft Windows Vista operating system and will come with an LED indicator that alerts users on high energy consumption. The notebook also has the ability to indicate whether it is on high or low energy consumption mode.
The plastic used in the Asus Bamboo is said to be made out of recyclable raw materials.
The Bamboo, which is the part of Asus’ U6V series of laptops, will soon hit the European and the United States.
